Friday, 22 May, from 10:30 a.m., Città della Scienza will host the PNRR Village, an initiative promoted by the University of Catania to present to the public the projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and their concrete impact on the local area.
Throughout the day, an exhibition and workshop itinerary will be set up, dedicated to the results achieved by the PNRR projects in which the University has played a leading role. The programme will include immersive exhibitions, practical demonstrations and activities for schools, with the aim of strengthening orientation activities and promoting scientific culture among younger generations.
The exhibition and workshop activities will take place during the following time slots: 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
As part of the event, which is included in the programme of the Mese della Ciminiera Scientifica, the AperiScienza, scheduled for 7:00 p.m., will host the round table “Research, Innovation and Impact on the Local Area”, moderated by journalist Leandro Perrotta.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for discussion on the current and future outcomes of the projects developed within the framework of the PNRR, exploring the role of research in innovation processes, knowledge transfer and the generation of tangible impacts on the local area.
Participants can book their place via Eventbrite.
The academic community is invited to take part in the initiative and to encourage the participation of students.
